Building upgrades

Dealing with Council Fire Orders and short compliance time frames can be avoided if an Owners Corporation undertakes a voluntary fire safety upgrade of their building.

This will involve performing a Fire Safety Audit of the building and methodically bringing the building up to a current level of life safety.

The audit will include inspections of:

                • Fire and Smoke alarm systems
                • Emergency Lighting
                • Penetrations & Fire Rating of Cables
              • Separation between tenancies
              • Non Fire Rated Cupboards under Stairwells
              • Fire Door and Frame Inspections

This audit will clearly show the Owners Corporation whether their building is compliant and what measures will be required to bring it into compliance.

Operating throughout New South Wales, Fire and Life Safety Management can assist Owners Corporations to undertake voluntary fire safety upgrades to achieve cost effective and timely compliance.
